Additional Information:
The education of young women has been my work for more than twenty-five years. As the product of twelve years of an all-girl education, eighteen years of teaching women and seven years of administrating in an all female institution, my total focus and committment is to the continued excellence of education for young women. My own education has had many interesting turns. After receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Education, I began teaching and attending graduate school. My career was sidetracked by marriage and the gift of three sons. After a ten year hiatus, I returned to the classroom and to graduate studies. I completed my certification requirements for the state of Pennsylvania. Eventually, I completed 40+ graduate credits through Saint Joseph's University, Pennsylvania State University, UCLA and Gratz College and was issued an MEQ by the State of Pennsylvania. My career and my education have been a blessing and the opportunity to serve other women is a true gift.

The 2007-2008 school year has been a very good year. Hallahan continues to flourish and the students have grown spiritually, academically and socially.
Congrqatulations to the Class of 2008 who brought great honor to Hallahan by their continued dedication to this school. They received numerous awards for their academic talent and community service. Collectively, they received in excess of 8.7 million dollars in scholarships and grants for their continuing education.
In preparation for next year, please be sure to read all information that is sent from the school, during the summer. Coupon books have been mailed and chance books are ready. May the Risen Christ bless your families during this Easter Season. I am sure that you rejoice with me that Spring has arrived and we are enjoying longer days.

This is also the infamous tax time of the year. Please remember that financial aid forms are also due by April 15th. Visit the Admissions Page on this website for additional information about securing financial aid. It is our hope and desire that each student receive enough financial aid to comfortably attend Hallahan.

Transfer requests are now being accepted. Students in 9th and 10th grades with good academic, discipline and attendance records are eligible to apply to attend Hallahan. All acceptances are based on student records and availability of class space.

Freshmen packets will be mailed in mid-April. Please review all information carefully and call if there are any questions. Coupon books for tuition and fee payments will be mailed in May. Fees will be due in June so please make note of this since it is different from past years. Also, Chance Books for the Fundraising Fee will also be available in June. It is required that all students purchase $150.00 worth of chances. Students may sell the chances for $2.00 each or the family may choose to put their names on all the chances. All chances must be returned by the second week in September and the drawing will be on Back-to-School Night.

Proms and graduations are coming. It is diocesan policy that all tuition and fees be paid in order for students to attend these events.

Thank you for all you do for Hallahan and for choosing Hallahan to partner with you in the education of your most precious gift. May God bless you.
