Additional Information:
The education of young women has been my work for more than twenty-five years. As the product of twelve years of an all-girl education, eighteen years of teaching women and seven years of administrating in an all female institution, my total focus and committment is to the continued excellence of education for young women. My own education has had many interesting turns. After receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree in Secondary Education, I began teaching and attending graduate school. My career was sidetracked by marriage and the gift of three sons. After a ten year hiatus, I returned to the classroom and to graduate studies. I completed my certification requirements for the state of Pennsylvania. Eventually, I completed 40+ graduate credits through Saint Joseph's University, Pennsylvania State University, UCLA and Gratz College and was issued an MEQ by the State of Pennsylvania. My career and my education have been a blessing and the opportunity to serve other women is a true gift.

Christmas Message
posted on Tuesday, Dec 09th, 2008 @ 11:26am
On behalf of the entire Hallahan Community, I wish you and your family a very blessed Christmas and New Year. Although we are told that times are difficult, as Chriatians, we know that our God is by our side to grant us any and all grace that we need in order to cope with life's challenges.

Please remember that the school will be open on a limited basis during the week between Christmas and New Year's day. The main office will be open if you need to stop in for any reason.

Be sure to check the handbook concerning diocesan policy about tuition and the ability of students to return for the second semester. This policy cannot be waived for any reason.

Financial aid forms will be available in January. Forms will be mailed to all those registered. Forms must be completed for each provider. Hallahan will also host a financial aid night sometime in February. You will receive notice of that date in January.

May God bless throughout this coming year.

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and Christmas is just around the corner. Even in these somewhat challenging times we do have so much to be thankful for, and certainly look forward to Advent and Christmas as times of parayer and joy.
For Hallahan, this time of year is very exciting. On Sunday, November 16, 2008, we will host our Fall Open House. Please join us to learn about the Admissions Process, the Cohort Program, Financial Aid and much more. Enjoy a tour of the building and some light refreshments.
All eighth gradr girls are invited to join us on Universal Visitation Day, November 20, 2008. Also, the Alumnae Scholarship Test Day is Saturday, November 22, 2008. For more information please contact Miss Dumin at (215)563-8930 ext.252.
Parents of current students are asked to be vigilent about tuition payments. Please call me, Mrs. Gallagher, (215)563-8930 ext. 253 if you need to discuss any issues concerning tuition and I will try to assist you.
Any students who may be considering a transfer to Hallahan, please join us at Open House or contact us with any questions.
I wish you all a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving and know that you are my prayers.
May God bless you.
