Dear Friends and Supporters of Faith in the Future,
The past few months and weeks have been a difficult time for our nation. As Faith in the Future and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia respond with heavy hearts to recent events, please know that we are committed to listening and learning as well as sustaining our support of diversity, equality, and inclusion. We hold that all life is sacred and stand in solidarity that black lives matter. We need change across our nation and understand it can start here at our schools.
While we may not have all the answers, we are prepared to use our platforms to discuss positive ways to bring about change peacefully and further strengthen our commitment to foster a community of belonging, comfort, and respect for all of its members. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has a long history and strong foundation in education and community. In partnership with the Foundation for Catholic Education, we proudly serve over 43,000 Philadelphia PreK-12 students – from all walks of life – across 119 elementary schools, 17 high schools, and 4 schools of special education. We seek to ensure that every Philadelphia-area family that wants to provide a Catholic education for their child is afforded the maximum financial assistance and scholarship opportunities possible. Our focus on academic excellence, faith-based learning, and community connections are unmatched.
As we navigate through this pandemic and racial injustice, support for our schools is critical. Many of our families have been impacted and are in need of assistance to continue growing into the next chapter of Catholic education. To help our families during these trying times, we are launching a Campaign for Tuition Assistance to provide financial assistance to those who need it the most. Our goal is to raise $3 million in new grant money to assure financial aid is available to our families for the 2020-21 school year.
Please help by donating today at give.faithinthefuture.com. Your donation will provide support to deserving families across Philadelphia.
