We have all had to adapt to a new lifestyle. Our school transitioned to virtual classrooms in just one weekend and our students have been learning virtually for six weeks. The girls of the Hallahan High will be reunited again soon, but until then, we are so proud of and grateful for our teachers for their ongoing devotion to our students and commitment to provide quality education, no matter what.  Apply to Hallahan Today!
 
 
John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School Admissions Update Regarding COVID-19
 
Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, our Admissions Committee is pleased to announce our application process will remain open for the incoming Class of 2024 and all transfer students. We understand that these are difficult times and we want to provide flexibility and support in order to make each student's application process and transition to high school as seamless as possible. 
 
We are happily welcoming new applications at this time, while continuing to assess incomplete applications on an individual basis. Understanding and adaptability are the driving forces behind these changes. For more information on our revised application process and to submit an application, please see below.

What is the admissions process for John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School?

  • Submit an application through the application portal. Through this portal you will apply to Hallahan, upload documents and track your progress on your applicant checklist.
  • Submit a copy of your 7th grade report card and most recent 8th grade report card.
  • Submit standardized test results (Terra Nova or PSSA)
  • Submit any applicable curriculum modifications (IEP, 504 plan, etc)
  • Complete a FACTS financial aid application
  • Schedule a date to take the HSPT Scholarship Entrance Exam. Use the Access Code: ZZ
  • Schedule a shadow visit
 
How do I sign up for the HSPT Scholarship Entrance Exam?
All applicants must take the HSPT Scholarship Entrance Exam to be considered for admission.  To sign up for a test, please go to http://hsptreg.stsusers.com and use the Access Code:  ZZ
 
When will I be notified of my acceptance to Hallahan?
Once your entire application is complete in the School Admin portal, you will receive a letter in the mail.  First round of standard admissions letters will be mailed no later than December 13th.  Applications completed after this date will be processed in January.
