Dr. Murray joined Hallahan in June of 2019 after serving for seven years at Cristo Rey Philadelphia as a member of the start-up team, founding faculty member, and assistant principal for academics. Dr. Murray was also on the Cristo Rey Network summer faculty, training new teachers and administrators in the student-centered approach to teaching/leading/learning. Prior to his work in Philadelphia, he taught theology for five years at Bishop Eustace in Pennsauken, NJ. He is a member of Contemplative Leaders in Action, run by the Jesuit Collaborative. Dr. Murray is a graduate of the University of Scranton (B.A. Theology and Counseling, 2003) and Villanova University (M.S. School Counseling, 2006; M.A. Theology, 2013). He holds a Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D., 2018) from St. Joseph's University, where he teaches a graduate-level course in educational leadership.
