Tim Bolen joins Hallahan as a Spanish and French teacher having graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a B.A. in Spanish and minors in French and International Business. A Long Island native, Tim and his family moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2000, where he began his study of Spanish in 7th grade. At Chestnut Hill, Tim took up the study of French and became a Spanish language tutor, helping college students to improve pronunciation and grammatical structures. He was also a member of the interdisciplinary Honors program and drama club, Mask & Foil. In 2018, Tim traveled to Salamanca, Spain, where he stayed with a host family and further refined his knowledge of Spanish. Tim is excited to share his knowledge with Hallahan students and to create a positive, encouraging, and welcoming learning environment for them to begin or to continue studying foreign languages.
