Message from Dr. Murray
Letter to Families
September 9, 2019
I have spent the last 100 days getting to know this very sacred space called Hallahan. It has been an exciting time to join this team of motivated and ambitious educators, having had the opportunity to hire 10 new teachers to the faculty, to launch our 100 Steps dual degree partnership with CCP, and of course to welcome the newest members of our community: the class of 2023. The most inspiring moments of these days have been those spent with our young women leaders. In June, our student president, Gabriella Davis, and her team reached out to meet over the summer to plan out their own leadership for the year. When I think of young women of vision, purpose, and faith, I think of Gabriella and her classmates and all they will offer the world when they graduate next June. What a day that will be!
I made a promise when I met with members of the Board of Directors and our president, Mrs. Kassekert, that I would do everything that I could to ensure that our girls are challenged, supported, and loved. Please know that I hold myself and our team to the highest standards in fulfilling this promise. I consider it a sacred responsibility to demand excellence of myself and our team when it comes to loving, challenging, and supporting our girls. Please reach out to me with any concerns.
I wish you all a joyous start to the school year and I look forward to seeing you on September 17th for Back to School Night.
