What is Offered in the Middle College Partnership?

The Middle College Partnership between John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School and Community College of Philadelphia will offer selected students the opportunity to choose between two programs of study:

Business Program

The business department of John Hallahan must plan for women entering the workplace with goals that differ from those of the 19th and 20th centuries.  Today’s business woman must be proficient in math, science, English, marketing, e-business, entrepreneurship and more. Hallahan both desires and requires a new approach to business education.  A Partnership with CCP will provide both a Hallahan diploma and an Associate’s Degree in Business for the Hallahan Graduate, thereby broadening educational and career opportunities.

Allied Health Program

While Hallahan has a robust science department, we welcome the opportunity to expand and to add an area of focus such as Allied Health and other health related fields.  The partnership with CCP again provides a diploma and an Associate’s Degree in Health Care.  Hallahan plans to have the initial Health Care cohort(s) major in nursing.
